Brand New Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1 “Cactus Jack” Sneakers

On Sale Retro Jordan,Set to drop in five colorways ranging from “Saturn Gold” to “Grey Haze,” Scott’s second Air Max collaboration has surfaced on-foot in a familiar “Baroque Brown”. Maintaining a backwards lateral swoosh, the pair features a bevy of modifications from Tinker Hatfield’s original design – namely the FlyEase-reminiscent lacing system visible from mid-foot to mid-foot. Traditional “NIKE AIR” branding is replaced by a red triangular tab boasting “CACTUS JACK” text in a semi-frozen yellow. Midsole components match the cream hue that takes over the ostensibly-mesh base, while waffle-patterned tread indulges in the titular brown that appears in segments across the upper. Lastly, “Wheat” paneling at the quarter-foot, mid-foot and heel further plays into the earth tones that’ve dominated the Houston-native’s NIKE, Inc. collaborations, and reimagines the Air Max 1‘s blueprint given its shape and coverage.
The Air Jordan 5 Transformers is an ultra-rare sample made to commemorate the “Transformers” film franchise. The shoe features a glossy Black leather upper with an embroidered “84” on the heel as a nod to the year “Transformers” premiered. Other details includes Optimus Prime’s colors on the Jumpman tongue and shark overlay around the midsole. A glow-in-the-dark outsole is contrasted by a “Transformers” logo underneath the forefoot completes the design.
The Air Jordan 13 University Gold will be a brand new colorway of the silhouette and it’s scheduled to debut next year. While images of the style have not surfaced yet, reports indicate that the sneaker will don white leather for its quilted leather upper, tongue, and inner lining. The highlight University Gold hue is utilized for its suede overlays and midsole, while a black rubber sole rounds out the profile.Lastly, the mock-ups feature the signature Jumpman logo on the tongue and a black outsole.
